Battery overcharging
My g16a's battery is charging around 18 volts. I have tried two new voltage regulators with no change. I began checking the wiring (don't really know what to look for) but have not found anything obvious. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Battery overcharging
I do not trust these new electronic regulators, I installed an "old adjustable" and was able to resolve everything at 14.5V...

Re: Battery overcharging
Is there an adjustable regulator that would work on a g16?

Re: Battery overcharging
The only one I was able to find (but not an original Hitachi) was at http://www.golfcartcare.com/ and yes, it is adjustable!
When adjusting, it is more a back-and-forth process as when reinstalling the closing, the value changes. |
