Yep. That's a thread ender! Sorry about that. It is older than me too and I'm old but,
not older than dirt. The Westinghouse carts were originally consrtucted in Los Angelos sometime during WWII when gas was rationed. An inventive man wanted his wife to be able to go shopping without using the automobile. They were later made in Redlands, Ca about 60 miles N from here and about 20 miles from where this one has been working all these years. It is built like a tank and still pulls a feed trailer around twice a day.....All on the original 4.5 hp motor which looks like it would weigh 50 pounds. LoL. |
