Cart won't shut off
Have a 2002 club car ds gas. When I step on gas pedal cart starts and runs but when I release gas pedal and turn key off and remove key the cart continues to run and move forward until I pull spark plug boot off to kill it.
Prior to this cart would not go. Would only idle so I replaced battery and coil. After I replaced coil the cart starts but the problem of not shutting off began. Since then have replaced microswitches in electrical box and solenoid but still will not shut off. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. |

That's your "engine kill" circuit! Something tells me that, that wire is disconnected either at the coil, (could happen while putting the engine shroud back on) or at one of the two bullet connectors where it splits at the limiter! |

Re: Cart won't shut off
Thanks. Ill check these wires when I get chance and let you know. Don't think the one at coil is off because I checked it and tryed pulling it off before I put shroud on and wire would not come off coil. Ill check though.
