A little know secret we have learned here in the USA is a 36v motor running on 48v (your cart is 48 volts) will produce 33% more rpms than it did on 36v. Since all carts are designed to spin the motor for 12-14mph this means cart will do 16-18 just by putting an older 36v club car motor in it. I hope this helps. And welcome to BGW |

Re: How to speed up a club car from 2000
Thanks for all the help .
The belgium market is very smal . I'm buying my parts in the usa , prices are small only the tax and shipping cost are high but still cheaper . I have also a ds from 1992 and will take the 6volt engine from it . And riding a transporter4 . Looking also to buy a lift-kit for the ds from 2000 and bigger tires. Any advice where to buy ? Greetings from Belgium. |

I too am looking at a non spindle lift and tires....any site sponsors cheaper than ebay???? |
