Its hard for me to follow your posts. The first post makes me believe the charger is outside of the cart and you are looking for a quick connect cord post charger (now DC voltage?).

If that is the case, I'm saying you shouldn't use a cord connection intended to carry 120v AC current.

Sorry if I'm wrong.

I had ...THOUGHT!!.... about putting it inside the cart; as ..olman had done, Changed horses, in the middle of the stream. I am now hanging the charger on a cabinet door.then using a "short extension cord",in its stock configuration, which will plug into the marinco....installed in my cart, from the charger,serving up 110 120 volt [standard electricity in USA] every thing safe neat and tidy.
Now!!!! i need to move on to this;I need a picture of the backside of this marinco plug,company won't help . If it has little round pins that receive the wires,instead of spade connectors. i might have to go with Amazon .as they have this; angle plug type wire;[form made], that slips right on to this the bottom side of the Marinco plug.if it has the little round wire,.. connectors, on it , NOW !!Do i have everybody on the same page ? i hope? anybody with this picture or descripition of said part thanks for lookin and listening bob s ---------- my age my mind gets ahead of my typing finger. occasionally Sorry

It is effectively a male extention plug. There are 3 holes in the back of the Marinco plug that will accept 3 wires...hot, neutral and ground. The 3 wires must be bared and inserted in the holes. Finally, there is a rubber boot that covers and protects the back of the plug. Excuse my brief explanation...watching the Patriots and Colts in the AFC playoff...! Hope this helps...!!!

So what type of current (AC/DC)? What voltage? Is being sent through this connector?

I guess i hope i word this right A/C comes from the wall receptical..........goes thru the charger .where it becomes direct current.to the batteries thru this marninco fitting. into 48 volt charge
