Registering as LSV
Are LSVs registered required to have the low profile DOT tires? Or can u register them with terrain tires?
Thanks Gwgaon |

Re: Registering as LSV
I think that all you need is the DOT stamp/emblem on the tire saying it is DOT approved.

Pretty much anything that says DOT-Approved.
should be accepted anywhere. Some places might have additional rules/requirements. |

Swan they never looked at my cart either but I didn't want to take any chances getting caught falsifying a government document.

ITP All Trail XLT 22x10-10 (4ply) DOT Golf Cart Tires
These are what I have now and are DOT approved, Stamped on the tire. When I got my cart registered as a LSV they never checked my tires... Which was good since my original set looked like the above, but were not DOT approved. If you ever get stopped you'll wish you were 100% legal. |
