Default PowerWise II by Lester not charging

Plug it in, it hums. Amp meter jumps and then goes back to zero.

I've watched a couple of YouTube videos and checked continuity, but the chargers were different and I'm not positive I did everything correctly. I can't seem to find a video that looks exactly like mine.

The meter has numbers on it, they just washed out in the photo.

Is this worth putting money into? It's kind of rusty:

Is there a place that rebuilds them?

It looks like I messed it up worse - it no longer hums.

I just ordered a new charger from a board sponsor. Is this old charger worth anything?

Yes.
Charger is repairable as long as transformer is good.

cart shop might purchase "as is"

Thanks! Sometimes I like to feel the pride in fixing something - sometimes I just don't want to $#^&%$ with it!
