A= 36V
82 = 1982
47 = week of production

Thanks for the advice. Check the motor when I got home from work today and you are correct it is a 36 V. So I took the fourth battery out and everything is working normal now. Still need to invest in golf cart batteries but the marine batteries are working for now

I have a new issue now. Not sure the best way to charge the cart now that it's 36v the charger the moron gave me with it is 48v and the batteries are 12v marine batteries. Any words of wisdom it's going to be a few week before I can get the right batteries and not sure what to do with the charge at this point.

Use car charger and charge one battery at a time. You don't have to unhook any cables to do that. Just hook to one battery once charged move to the next one.

Couldn't you use the 36v charger as normal with three of the 12v batteries in series?
