I said it was whacked. But I think you guys are missing the point. First, I have no fear of hurting the 6V or 8V batteries. The 6V ones are shot. Although the 8V batteries are good, I'm not going to use them. (I will be using 8 brand new batteries on my 48 Volt cart.)

My main concern is I don't care to hurt the cart or charger. Does anyone see them getting hurt?

PS, Dave, I use to live in Lancaster during the TMI accident. I know it well. Do you suppose that's why I come up with these ideas? LOL.

Ohhhh.....Lancaster.....eh? That 'splains a lot!! But seriously, #1, I'm glad you can see the humor.....BUT #2, If it were me I wouldn't fool with the mixing of batteries. Batteries can do weird and funky things. My B-I-L is a master Mack mechanic and he has always told me that my cart "has a lot of amps there....so be darn (he actually use's a different word) careful about messing with that". Batteries can just plain croak. Or balloon up...or blow up like a bad cherry bomb.

My very conservative advice would be just do it right from the start and don't mess with the mix stuff.
