Default Battery rack repair

My 2002 CC DS 48v with 6ea 8v batteries is in need of some major battery rack repair. Is there such a thing as a replacement rack available for my cart or is it one of those take it to a welding and fabrication business things? If it is the latter does anyone know of one in the Washington NC area that can do the work?

Most all of the beams are corroded but the beams that intersect in the middle of the rack seem to be the worst. I have only had the cart a month and it is obvious that the battery compartment has been neglected for far too long. I don't think patching them with some sections of angle aluminum would make for a lasting repair that's why my intention is to replace the entire rack. If that means a trip to a welding shop then so be it. Thanks for the help.

Thanks crash test dummy will look for a good welder in the area. We just moved to Belhaven NC and don't know too much about the area but will talk to some of our new neighbors and get a recommendation. Thanks again and Happy New Year!

You might be able to buy a replacement from Club Car. Contact a local distributer. I know e-z-go sells them as a replacement part

jdixon we are practically neighbors. We still have our old place in Salisbury out on High Rock lake. We bought the place in Belhaven in May. I am going to a couple of the cart dealers in the area and see what they can tell me about a welder in the area. I am sure that I am not the only one that has had to deal with this issue.
