Rear end locked EZGO ele 98
I have a 1998 EZGO ele cart.
I bought it from a freind and it had water damage I replaced the controller and solenoid. I jacked it up and wheels spin in different direction smoothly. But it will not roll on the ground. The read end is locked up. I have a 2005 EZGO and it has a tow switch this one don't. Is neneutral the same thing? Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks |

I experienced the same thing on our 1982 HD cart. The Spicer rear end would not roll! I supported the axles off the ground using axle sands and started the engine and began driving the wheels. After a couple of minutes, I shut the engine off and "presto"..... The diff rolls again! One of life's little mysteries?

If they spin in different directions easily the differential is Not locked up.. Something above it is. Either the motor or the input gear. Pull the motor off and then recheck.
