Rear wheel trouble
OK,jacked cart up,drivers side rear wheel has trouble moving
and makes a noise, let juice off and it comes to an immediate stop. The other wheel spins freely and gradually comes to a stop. I know the axles come out as I had to replace 1 but can't remember which one I replaced. Really don't know what it could be, I really don't think it could be the axle, maybe something internally??? Thanks for any advice in advance |

Re: Rear wheel trouble
With or without brake drum in place? Sticking brake is my guess.

Re: Rear wheel trouble
yes hub and axle look fine,if it was a sticking brake ,why would it make a crunching sound? How do you fix a sticking brake??

Re: Rear wheel trouble
The crunching sound may be the outer axle bearing. Crunch crunch crunch

Re: Rear wheel trouble
Yes. Pull the brake drum, remove the split ring, put the hub back on backwards and pull.
