Ok checked the state of charge of the batteriesabout 12 hours after they finished today it was reading 47.5 V a ride around and drop to about 46 V is what it said and this is a 36 V cart I don't know if my meter is freaking out ?? because I check the codes and is not overpowered..

Something is right. A 36V pack shouldn't get that high and most definitely shouldn't be that high after 12 hours of rest.

What make/model charger are you using?

You have six Powertron P2000 batteries , right?

Check the battery in your voltmeter, a low batteries will make some of them give very strange readings.
