installing fog lights
guys, i am trying to install an extra set of fog lights on the IQ DS....i've searched the web for wiring diagrams, do all the ground wires go back to the negative terminal ???
i have power wired from the batteries to a voltage reducer to a terminal block....all the diagrams i find just show ground wires from lights and relay but not showing them running back to the negative terminal. anybody have a relay diagram also ??? |

Re: installing fog lights
Simply said. Yes! Golf carts do not have a ground like a car. You have to have a negative terminal block.
How I have my reducer setup is..... Negative from the battery (end of pack) and reducer and all 12V are at a terminal block. Positive 12V from reducer goes to a switch panel (http://www.bellmarine.com.au/page18.php). I then run the positive from the accessories to whichever switch I want them hooked up to. Don't forget you have a positive from the reducer that goes on the other end of the pack so the reducer is using all batteries. My reducer even had a wire for my switch so when I turn the switch to off all my 12V accessories go dead. |
