reverse even when in forward

I have a precedent 04 professional ( PQ 0433 ) in the shop that had a motor roar.. sound. Needed a bushing , had the rebuilt motor from this cart to use as a test to see if the noise was gone , miss wired the test motor . when I connected them correctly the motor only went into reverse even in forward.
went through the reset obc steps. there was no reverse beep at all when throttle was pressed to floor. Noticed some posts say that may be no sound on older models. But the low charge light kicks on when the power was reconnected, after the peddle was pressed, I guess this is the notice of the obc rebooted . all batteries are charged well 12.3- 12.6 on all 4. showing 48.6 or so across the main. there is some kind of slipping or jerking to the movement mostly when f/r switch is in forward. reverse seems smoother on the take off but still slow though.

If You cross-wired the A1 cable to one of the Field coil posts on the Motor, the Controller Field driver was damaged.

Since You have extra parts, just swap the controller to test.

The buzzer does not sound during the OBC reset (except on some old carts), the battery warning light coming ON the first time You drive is the correct signal the OBC was reset.
