Default Precedent VIP dash install help

Has anyone installed the pictured dash?

Obviously I would have to bring the key and headlight over but what about the orange battery light? Should I even attempt that small of a cutout on the new dash or rather get a new digital one and tie it to the 48v pack? Are there 48v spare leads already behind the original dash that I could use for a digital voltage gauge? If I do a new gauge, is the orange battery indicator left wired up and just tossed behind the new dash?

Thanks.

I have done a few, I always make a template from the original dash then I place it about the radio opening. Give me a minute and I'll go take a picture of mine.

Hope this helps you out. You could even put it were I have my F/R switch, I have to have there because my cart is a limo.

Thank you for the pic. Does the head unit just use the basket or did it need any other support?

On the aftermarket battery gauge, where is the easiest place to get the pack voltage from? I don't have mine apart yet but want to get as much as I can straight in my head.

Thanks.

I always try to put a support on the back because of bumps. One cart I bought with the radio and dash already install never had anything supporting the back at it did okay.
