Curtis 1204-410 .... This controller can be up graded at FSIP (Flight Systems Industrial Products) For little to nothing if you send it in to get rebuilt. Cost for Rebuild is $197 and they can up it to a 400amp controller for VERY little extra if you send it in for a rebuild.

Just a thought if you want to upgrade the controller. https://fsip.workxpress.com/parts/12370

http://www.fsip.biz/index.html

Here is what a 400amp Curtis 1204 would cost on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Curtis-Speed-.../dp/B006O0DQME

That one is a RHOX 3" spindle lift, available from many places including several of the site sponsors. For example: https://www.jasonsgolfcarts.com/Club...p/lift-306.htm

That's a good looking cart. That's what I'm going for. Do you think I should do a rebuild at 400 amp or new 500 amp controller? How much difference will 100 amps make?

For your 10 HP motor,

100 more amps
quite a bit of difference (400 amps will be max & the motor still want more)
500 amps, most times you won't be maxing out your controller, will run cooler

don't forget...... # 2 awg cables

My theory is , if you are gonna upgrade,
upgrade
So you don't think
" I wonder how much better it would perform with a 500 or 600 amp controller "

You may want to downsize the motor & go for torque ,
for going up the hills with a load.

Lots of options to mull over before you buy.

meimk, is that a wrap or paint?
Looks good, but a friend of mine just bought a buggy for his wife and the paint scheme looks identical....

What size rims are those? Does the tires rub? I see a quite of few people saying to not go any larger than 20" on a 3" lift. Did you have to use 1" blocks on the front?
