Help fix 83 club cart
Hello everyone have not posted any thing since last golf season and need to help fix a friend's cart. He told me it just suddenly stopped working, no noise, just going to next hole and it stopped dead.No going forward or reverse.
What I have done so far is this A..check all batteries everyone with .5 of each other. 36 volts pack B.. removed electric motor, removed brushes and cleaned everything out. tested motor by wiring into battery pack. It runs great. C..Remove F\R switch and cleaned and check...everything good there.D.. Next checked 5 solenoid and listen to hear if they all getting power when speed switch is moved....all good again. Is there any hidden fuses that I need to look for? |

Re: Help fix 83 club cart
when the speed control is pushed down,I can clearly hear 5 different clicks coming fro the solenoid under the seat area.
Is there a controller some on the cart has well ? |

Re: Help fix 83 club cart
So if every thing is ok....what volt should be at the F\R wire going to the electric motor ?
Should it vary has the pedal is pushed down ? |

Re: Help fix 83 club cart
so you are saying there should be 36 + volts going to the motor allways, even when the pedal only actives just 1 or 2 solenoids ??? I have red wire and white going from the F/R switch to the motor.I'm thinking that 1 wire is for forward and the other is for reverse.
