on old style you move the 1/2 speed reverse cable to main positive post

CC full speed reverse mod for controller carts. The F&R mod is the same for resistor carts. A simple bus bar across the 2 bottom terminals will supply equal power to both directions.

hello guys just got everything back on to the cart. I took photo of the F/R switch wiring and put every thing back the same way. I want to double check one thing ....last battery positive wire goes to the top single bolt on the F/R switch. And red wire coming from motor goes to bottom left bolt on that switch.

I think the wires were switched at one time.

Is there 36 volts going through the power switch and the limit switch on the F/R switch ?

yes ... there is 36v on entire cart

Finally found the problem.....broken micro switch in speed control box.

Thanks to everyone that pointed me in the right direction and special thanks to Crash Test Dummy for all your help.
