What are the stock size cables for a club car ds?
What is a good size to upgrade to? Thanks. |

Stock is 6 gauge
Most aftermarket motors recommend at least 4 gauge 2 gauge is the most efficient 4 gauge is a good upgrade, knowing what I know now Ida went with 2ga |

6# is common on most carts..4# is a good upgrade if everything is stock..The BIGGER the BETTER. Think of it this way..Electricity/Current flows like water.. Do you want to put your House fire out with a garden hose or a more Efficient way like a Fire Hose attached to a hydrant.

We are going to 2g on everything now. The cost is not a lot more than 4g and it is much more efficient. And it allows for aftermarket motors and the biggest tires, controllers, etc... later.
