It's an XCT for a Regen 2. I sold it to him. I've been working with him via email. All of the programming is correct. We're trying to figure out if he's got some kind of battery issue.

In this case sounds more like a speed sensor issue....

Possibly. The Toolkit would definitely help to reveal any issues.

To the OP,

Once you get the software plugged into your controller, call me and I'll walk you through it.

Thanks will do, I checked last night and there is no play in the throttle pedal so that shouldn't be the problem.

That would have applied only to the stock Curtis Controller as the Alltrax XCT self-calibrates the throttle range.

The speed sensor is more likely the issue since the old Regen did not have a "limp mode" when the speed sensor malfunctioned.

Does the cart offer resistance against pushing by hand and the reverse buzzer sounds when you try?

PS: Call David...

It did before I installed the new controller.

I'll be calling David this evening

Didn't have time to do anything other than check the voltage last night. after a full charge and sitting for 12 hours the pack voltage was 50.7 all batteries were within a 10th of each other. This would make me think the batteries are not the issue right?

Possibly, but the only way to be sure is to measure the voltage while there is load on the batteries, like driving uphill or during initial hard acceleration from a stopped position.

Did You try the push test?
