For the cost i would say add 2 6volts.. I did this and put them in the caddy .. installed a diamond plate bed on the back and you cant see them . plus youll get more miles out of a pack with 8 6vs

For flooded I would recommend Trojan's. I had 8 6-V T-105's (two in the bag well) and got a good 6 years outta them. Prolly couda went another year but that would be running on reduced distance.

Keep your batteries watered with distilled and always keep your terminals clean.

And FWIW.......amps = more torque......volts = more speed!!!

That's a good idea....depending upon how old your existing batteries are. I'd go this route if your existing 6-V's are under 24 months old.

Now.....keep in mind if you do this, your "new" batteries will last about the same time frame as your "old" ones. So....if you have 3 years of expected time left on your existing 6-V, that's likely all you'll get from the 2 new one's.

Go lithium and drop 250lbs of weight off the cart and gain speed and distance as well.

48 volts and a quality motor will get you 20+mph. Motor selection will depend on what your going to do with it.......
