Big block v-twin and high speed gears.

That is somewhat nebulous..... I mean you are talking, tires, (or gears), motor, controller, cables, solenoid, brakes, etc.

If I was doing it, it would be:
XCT500
Plum Quick Motor (Call Robbie and discuss needs and wants)
2g Cables
400 SD Solenoid
10:1 gears or big tires
Disc Brakes!

I was thinking close to the same thing minus the gears and disc brakes. Have you tried a PQ motor and gotten that kind of speed before? if so which one? So this IS feasible out of 48V? Also this will be a non lifted cart

My speed is in my signature and I use many PQ's, but that cart is lithium powered. Non-lifted and stock tires will never see close to 35mph due to RPM limitations. You will have to install gears to accomplish that without large diameter tires.

The best way to answer that motor question about PQ is to ask PQ. I would not want to speculate on what they can tell you for sure. Robbie is great and one of the best at motors and getting the most out of them.

American made Quality all the way!

Play with this.....http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/speed-calculator.php

Note, stock tires are ~!8.5", gears are 12.3, and RPM's on most aftermarket motors will be 6000/6500. That is why it is so important to spec your motor out correctly. I called and talked to Robbie and he made my Executioner custom for me.

Not sure what you're trying for, but maybe a side by side would be better suited? You'll be big $ invested into a golf cart to do 35+ mph. Even if the motor can handle it, it will take some significant suspension mods to make it stable at those speeds. And then also take into consideration a sxs roll cage is designed for that, the roof of a golf cart is meant for shade and thats about it.

Have to keep in mind, golf carts were designed for golf. And speeds of 12-14mph. Gets pretty sketchy pretty quick above 20mph just because they weren't designed for it. And then brakes to slow it down from 15mph are fine. The same brakes at 30mph... I'll pass lol

Yeah I got all that thanks...this is a customer request albeit a far fetched one it's still something they would like as a toy if possible. Some people have more money than sense and I don't mind helping them spend that money!
