94 Marathon 36v not moving
Hi All,
New to Forums. I have a 94 EZGO Marathon Freedom 36v. Backed it out of the garage, put it forward and it vibrated for a bit and died completely. I had recently replaced the F&R switch due to mechanical failure. Went ahead and replaced the solenoid at time as well. Cart ran ok for a few weeks, daily use. Solenoid clicks. Voltage drops off rapidly when I hit the pedal in forward or reverse I checked Ohms on the potentiometer and they jumped all over when I hit the pedal, so I replaced it too. Problem persists. Batteries are ok, it does have the solid state controller. All wiring checked. I'm concerned that the new solenoid is defective, or maybe the little diode things? I'd appreciate any help troubleshooting before I move on to the controller and/or motor. Thanks all Mike |

How "OK" are the batteries? I had a faulty clicking solenoid in a cart like yours about a week ago. Drove me nuts.
