Does BU forum still exist? I won't waste my time to go see ...
OOOh, OOOh, OOOh

You said evil and horrible word(s).

An unfortunate member here bought a motor that 'sploded. We still don't know if the BU warranty will cover it. And FWIW, I don't believe the OP did anything wrong. BU asked OP to bench test it, after it 'spolded???

"evil and horrible words"?

But few truer words have been spoken!

LOL, those guys are the best! I laugh when they try to stop by like they are the cool guys! I truly feel bad for what happened to luna, but I don't know everything about that.

Sorry, joking. I figured folks here - especially site sponsors - didn't want to wander into the grey area of bad-mouthing a "competitor". As a former member, I guess you have that right.

I joined here in 2009, and from everything I've read, you're correct. I lurked there and here, but picked my side and never looked back. I bought nearly everything from sponsors here, and have never been disappointed. I never spent $0.01 at BU.

Nivel stripped our local "everything" rebuilder (motor, alternator, generator, radiator, gas tank, and more), how ya gonna get a real brass/copper radiator for your old vehicle now...they still do the electrical side tho. (Until recently had a real good web page illustrating all the steps of total electric motor rebuild, stripped to nothing)

Yurtle where exactly is the solenoid? I assume it’s in the box which is the controller? On my old 87 ex go I had it stuck right out

Under controller cover in first photo. Unfortunately, it's harder to remove than your FNR cover - one screw.

Most of them do not... first thing to go but - they were rain hats for days when the batteries got washed. It kept the micro switches dry... a plastic bag will do the trick now.
