Default Charger keeps blowing fuse

Hello, Im a new to this, but trying to learn as I go. I have a 99 ezgo 36 volt cart with the powerwise charger. I keep blowing the 50 amp fuse in the charger. I was thinking it was the control board, and bought a different one. This board replaced the other two that was in it. I feel I have it wired up correctly. I also replaced the fuse. So with out plugging the charger back into the wall outlet, I plug it into the cart, and blow the fuse in the charger again. Wow! Where do I start from here? Where the plug from the charger goes into the cart (sorry dont know correct name) Those look good except for the one with the coating around it looks like it has some hair line cracks, Is that normal? Any advice would be appriciated

The powerwise charge was notorious for blowing fuses anytime the Diode board went bad. Nowadays, anytime I have a blown fuse in a powerwise, the first thing I do is check the diode board because it is usually blown. I no longer replace multiple fuses anymore.....

What is the diode board? Is that another name for the board that I replaced in the charger (control board)

The diode board is also called the rectifier...... It is a small metal strip with 2 diodes mounted that is attached to the aluminum heatsink.

Do a search for how to test the diodes in your charger as Rabbit suggested.
