Re: HD Leaf Springs 3 leaf vs. 4?
Mine all pushed in by hand with a touch of grease on them. No jack on mine. Held the front of the spring to the mount and pushed in the shoulder bolt. This allowed me a bit of twist to get the bolt all the way. Raised the rear to the shackle and pushed in that bolt. Lowered the axle onto the spring and aligned the U-bolts. Tightened everything down once all was in proper position AND had the weight of the cart on the springs.

Well you see I didn't lift the rear end off I did it with them resting on the leafs. I used a pallet jack didn't have my floor jack with me at the time!

Re: HD Leaf Springs 3 leaf vs. 4?
Well, I got the HD springs in this past Saturday. It was a real easy job. They just bolted in, no surprises. When I went from my saggy 2 leafers to the new 4 leafers, it raised up my back end about 3 1/2" - 4". They are much stiffer than the originals.
