200k OHMS... UnPlug the square connector and check for resistance between black and yellow. Should range from 5K-0 Pedal up to Pedal down

Ok. Theres not a black wire but there is a white wire with a black stripe. I put my meter on 200k then touched the red from my meter to the yellow of the square plug, then the black from the meter to the white with black stripe. This gave me 5.6 on the meter. Then i pressed the pedal and the meter went to 0. Just to check things out i left the red from meter attached to yellow on plug and the touched black from meter to purple on plug. This gave me 0 and when i pressed the pedal the meter went to 5.6. Just the opposite of black to white with stripe.

Try this... this should simplify it a bit.

Put the multimeter on 200k ohms... insert wire piercing probe (red) yellow wire while still plugged into the connector.. black probe goes to B- on controller or main neg battery post...... Throttle should range from approximately 5k ohms at top of pedal down to 0 at wide open.

I tried this but the reading was all over the place. I touched the red of meter to yellow of plug and left it plugged in, then the black of meter to b-. It didn't read anything and when I pressed the pedal it gave all sorts of readings bouncing all over the place. I then unplugged the connector and did the same test but didn't get anything.
