thanks guys, I will give them another full charge and get bank & indv. voltage on each battery and get back with you. another question you had is who installed the batteries and that would be me. can anyone tell me how to reset the OBC?

look up in the stickies its there somewhere..........its not hard to do but double check to make sure you put the red 10 gage wire from charge receptical to the #1 battery pos. post....thats the rear battery pass. side................

Reporting back after a full charge and cool down for 5 hours 50.9-51 volts across the battery bank, disconnecting the cables and reading volts on each battery all readings 8.5 volts - 8.7 volts except for one battery that the main postive cable from the motor connects to and it gave a reading of 7.84 and the next lowest reading was the battery next to it(the passanger side setting in the cart.
pulled S.G. test on all battery cells as you said to do, every cell read over 1300 except for the battery that was showing 7.84 volts and it would not float the at all. I would have never thought one battery would be bad as these batteries are all barnd new bought 12-6-11 (US batteries) I call the dealer and they said bring it back and exchange it for another new one. |

yes the date codes reflect they came from the factory 11-2011, swaped out battery today and cart seems to be much better.
I plan to make a hunting cart,would I be better off using this 98 club car 48 volt Electric or getting a 4 stroke? |

for the woods i mean you do everything you can to stay quiet so i would say elec. gas they,ll hear ya from a mile away......................................
