Default Battery Charger Buries in the Negative!

When i plug the cart in the needle drops to zero and below. Is it a polarity issue? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.

If the charger ammeter has been replaced the connection leads to the meter may need to be swapped.

Check the cart with a voltmeter to see if in fact voltage rises when the charger comes on.

Is this a "sudden" development or have you recently worked on your cart?

Test with a digital volt meter as scotty has suggested first.

if its doing this on multible carts this has to be a charger issue so as suggested check with a meter and as asked how did this come about? was charger worked on? or dropped maybe? can you open it to make sure no wires are touching something they shouldn,t be..................a charger just dosn,t start doing this for no reason so there has to be more going on??????.........................................8 )

Having the same issue with my charger. Plug in and needle goes wrong way. Took cover off and everything looks ok. Came this way from dealer but have not got chance to return. Other chargers work ok.
