No you want to find the side of the switch that is hot only when the switch is on and that is where you would connect the Positive. The black line in the drawing is the Negative. The yellow line is the +12 volts.

Ok, would you recommed tapping into the hot line on the switch or run a total seperate wire??? I take it that the neg stays where its at??? Thanks

Any idea how to get more speed from this resistor car other than a motor and lifting it??

Mine is also a resistor cart, I am in the process of changing it over to a controller. Scottyb on here would be one guys to answer that question the best...I know wiring but the other stuff not so much yet

Depends on which reducer you have . . do you know if you reducer has a trigger/control wire?

No trigger wire just pos battery neg battery pos 12v neg 12v someone mentioned if the key switch and the vglide had wires together there might be a problem running the load wire to the reducer

Yes I saw the diagram. Tahoedawgz said it can run that way only if the cart is switched pos at the key switch and switched neg at the vglide limit switch. How do you confirm that.?? He said most of the carts are switched positive. I only see 2 wires on the key switch blue and red , red positive and blue going to the micro switch on the foward and reverse switch.
