I got the parts from shopezygo.com None of the parts I wanted were on the website, but I emailed them and they added them.

I don't remember exactly how I removed mine, but I did have two screws holding on the cover, then I loosened the nut and did the pull while hitting it trick. The nut should be loose enough to completely cover the bolt, to protect its threads. Don't be afraid to hit it hard. After all, it's been on there for a decade and a half. Maybe spray some WD-40 or other loosening oil and let it soak overnight.

RubberNo but smith carts out of california has a list and they were very helpful and competetive on pricing I got the rack pinion and idler for 127 shipping and all.My clip had two screws phillips head that held the steering wheel on.I whacked mine with a rubber mallet and with the nut covering the threads and it popped on off good luck

Ok, got the rack out. Just as I suspected several mashed teeth in the middle of it. In hindsight, I don't know whey it was necessary to remove the clamp on the bellows.

Still can't get the steering wheel to budge. Soaked it with WD40 overnight and hit so repeatedly today the whold cart shudders on the jack stands.

Can you replace the pinion without removing the housing? i.e. from the tensioner side?

Got the wheel off by pounding from the bottom.
