07 MPT1000E (workhorse) question
I recently aquired a 07 EZ GO MPT 1000E (Workhorse), it doesn't have a motor, controller or solenoid. I am wanting to put a 36volt motor on it, here is my question, is there certain year motor I do not want to use? The reason I ask that is I have a friend that has a 2000 non-PDS motor he is going to give me. I am going to get a controller, solenoid and new cables from Scotty B.

Re: 07 MPT1000E (workhorse) question
I believe you will be fine as long as you use a 94 up ezgo series motor. If you are going to get the motor for free I would suggest you send it to get redone so you can go to 48v, it will be a better setup for you in the long run. Just my .02.
