12 volt power supply with factory lights
Do I need to use a voltage reducer to run a 12v outlet if I have factory lights? Is there already a 12v connection that I can "tap off of"?

Most likely you will need one. I am not 100% sure but I dont think your cart came with one. Trace back the wiring from the headlights and see where it goes. If it runs just to two batteries then you dont have a reducer.
You can get a 10 amp 36v reducer for around $30-40 that would run most anything you need unless your wanting to hook up a high powered spotlight or something. 20 amp can be had for about twice that. Plus if you don't already have one a reducer would be a better option to wire your headlights with so it pulls off all batteries evenly. |

Factory E-Z Go lights run through two batteries...no reducer...as explained you can run the 12v outlet to two batteries and it will work just fine, but as a drawback you run the risk of draining the lifespan of these two batteries quicker than the rest of the pack without a reducer...

Be sure to put a fuse on the postive connection.

You can all you have to do is add another fuse and run your positive from there!

OK - so here is my fuse panel. You're saying I can just add a new fuse and run the positive off of the panel - where would the negative go?
