update: changed the controller just now. theres a click or two relay-sounding from the back that it wasnt making previously. still not charging and no click or anything from the charger.

im about to do your bypass, i undid the six pin plug, and im about to jump the blue to the red. do i just leave the other four disconnected?

did the bypass yesterday with no change in results. not sure where to go from here.

does the OBC control charging AND usage?

informative response. hahaha

so from here, what do? i swapped back to the original controllers since it didnt really change anything. i wasnt wanting to try to do bypasses and other troubleshooting with a fresh controller in case anything happens while troubleshooting.

Check all the connectors and make sure none of the pins have pulled out of anything.

all connections on the controller are good. the only connectors involved with the obc would be the six pin plug going into the harness i believe.

what does it mean if nothing changes after jumping the blue to red for the obc?

Are you jumping them on the car side of the harness? If your jumping the pins together on the OBC you're doing nothing. By jumping these two pins on the car side you are eliminating the need for the OBC from the system. It will run perfectly normal like this without an OBC.

oh nah, i did it on the harness side, not the obc side. that'd be silly. though im sure its been done in the past while attempting to troubleshoot.

i jumped the car side of the harness red to blue and it didnt seem to change anything at all. could it actually be a controller AND obc issue? or could the motor itself be bad from dropping or something?

like ive said, i dont really know where to go from here. most of the "bypass this, this should happen" suggestions fix what the issue is, but this cart shows no improvement.

hard to believe it ran just fine before the lift kit install v___v

It's not the OBC if he bypassed it the way I told him and it didn't run....

So we've tried an OBC bypass, another controller......... Have you done a continuity check on the motor yet?
