2007 ds charger issue

david do you remember how you had to read OBC data before they put the updated orange lights on dash?? tell me that wasn,t a trip...........................

I've seen it done and heard about it. But I started in 2001 so luckily I didn't ever have to deal with that crap.

oh lucky you......i still have the scan tool to read them but havn,t used it latley........that was the reason when you bought certain OBC,s they gave you an orange dash light and a new grey wire to install.........wasn,t bad only took 20 minuts to get tool on proper angle once you had cart high enough....................

Doesn't the same CDM read the old ones that we're still using today to scan the orange light?

yeah it will scan the orange light and read the OBC on carts with red light you just need to be perfect with angles and be triple jointed.................

okie dokie, i tried the grey wire and black on b- and the charger kicked on. so its OBC correct? do i need to get certain numbers off the old one to match up or will any 2007 ds OBC work? thx everyone for the help!!!!!!!! helps alot on a dude like me that somehow got the clubs golfcarts included in my daily routine at work. which i hardly know anything about. thx again!!!!!! Bird

Just an update. Put in new obc and works fine. Thanks to everyone helping
