Splash shield/cover for battery compartment?
I have a 2002 Club Car DS. Has anyone ever thought of or installed a mud/splash shield under the cart to keep mud and dirt out of the battery compartment? Is this even recommended? Any thoughts, ideas or pics are much appreciated.
Thanks |

I wonder about air circulation for the acid fumes when charging.

Re: Splash shield/cover for battery compartment?
I was thinking about building an aluminum underbelly/ battery skid plate and the idea came to mind to enclose them with some vent holes to keep ( most) water out. Prob just do the skid plate though.

Ya, I lift the seat when charging also. But the newer carts have a box that covers most of the opening. I just want to keep the mud out as much as possible.
