if you unplug the speed sensor it will only go 8 mph,its the same thing as if its bad,if you can roll it forward and get the buzzer the kick on and the regan braking slows the motor down its good,if not the sensor is bad....that screen you refering too is it a hand held unit???

Two threads for the same issue?? Anyways, I would say it's the speed sensor all the way.

But is there resistance when trying to push it like it's trying to stop itself? If not, speed sensor.

I'm going to check the difference. With it plugged in and then in plugged. On the post simple man showed me one guy said 8mph is the stage 1 on the cc settings. Unfortunately my club cars serial number sticker is gone and I'm not sure how to figure out the serial number on it. Kind of worried I find out its stolen or something . Do you know if they can change the codes even without the serial number ?

. . . what is in the dash? . . . . the back up buzzer may be in the dash, but the speed sensor is mounted to the back of the motor . . . also check behind your key switch panel to see if a second serial number sticker is mounted there . . . they need serial number of cart plus serial number of controller to build a speed code 4 for your cart . . .

ill look tonight and yeah i get resistance so Im guessing its the speed code. One guy on the post simple man gave me said that the lowest speed these club cars are programmed for is 8mph so im guessing that is my problem. Now i just have to find a serial number.
