Default Speed Code 4 ???

Hi

How do l know if l have Speed Code 4 or not? When l bought the cart from an authorized CC dealer l had them do this and paid for it.

My concern is going 20 mph in a car is one thing but 20 mph in a cart is another thing.

2010 Precedent electric.

How can l tell how fast l am going?

Thanks

Alan

You could have a car follow you or you could download a free gps speed app on your phone.

Hi

I used a GPS app and was able to hit 20 mph on a level service with my wife
as a passenger.

Total weight approx 300 lbs.

By the way while going downhill after approx 20 mph the cart will start braking.

Thanks

Yep, that is normal
On speed code 4, the "actual" top speed is I think 19.6 mph
The braking is called regen braking and it does it automatically to keep you from going too fast down a bill.

So far l am 100% pleased with the cart. Most of the people who check it out
