2001 iq ?
Ok just purchased a 2001 CC DS. Is this an IQ cart? It has the FR switch instead of a lever. I have heard that IQ carts serial # start out as AQ. Mine starts out AC. AC0104-xxxxxxx to be exact. What can you tell me about it. Can I do the magnet trick with it?
Thanks CartTrader |

Re: 2001 iq ?
Because it is not an IQ, you cannot use a magnet. You will have to upgrade controller, motor, wiring, etc to gain more speed and torque.

Re: 2001 iq ?
Thanks ... Just saw this in the stickies and was going to post when I saw you did already. By the way the serial# is AC0140 not AC0104. So I guess it is a 2001 1/2

Re: 2001 iq ?
Yes, of course. I think all you have to do is look behind the motor and there will be a little pigtail coming off the motor itself. Pull that plug and it is now disabled. This is what I have heard from this forum...

Re: 2001 iq ?
No, you cannot get rid of regen by disconnecting the speed sensor, the cart will not run. You wil have to put a magnet in or a speedylink. Possibly reprogram controller to private speed code. You cannot put a series motor into a sepex system, if your motor has a pigtail off the back then you have a sepex motor.
