front end adjustment
I have a 2005 ez go cart that is pulling to the right hard.
Now I have checked air pressure and alignment. The tires are new. I just replaced one spring on the right side trying to make the cart sit level. Now it's high on the right side. but back to the front. I checked the axle and could not find anything bent. Can anyone help with what to check??or adjust. Thanks for the help. Sonny |

Re: front end adjustment
Are the shocks new? Don't rule out a bent frame if its been abused in a previous life.

Re: front end adjustment
Front and/or rear axle not perpendicular to center-line of frame. (Tracking or Yaw)
See attached drawing. (Same applies to rear axle, but misalignment typically caused by bent/broken spring hanger or frame.) Different camber and/or castor angles on left and right sides. (Something bent) Have someone drive cart and watch it from behind. Do the rear tires follow the front tires, or are they offset to one side. (Track width may be different on front and rear axles, so the offset should be the same on both sides, but in the opposite direction.) Also, pulling to the right may be an issue in the left rear. |

Did it pull to the right before changing the spring?

Re: front end adjustment
I'm not sure about this, before the spring. It was setting lower on one side than the other when I went to work on it. Is there a good way to check the frame?? and if it's bent can it be fixed?? and how. I do know someone at a body shop if I had the setting.

Re: front end adjustment
Well men I'll close this thread. Couldn't find anything wrong with the set up.
Look a little closer and found something wrong with the steering sector. The rod coming out of the sector or some part inside the sector was loose or worn out or bend, So I will change the sector tomorrow and see if that helps. Thanks all Sonny |

Re: front end adjustment
Mine are 1998s and still work fine. Shocks only dampen the bouncing of the leaf springs.
