Default squeeking noise around driver rear tire.

need two more post to get ride of those adds so why not.
this is probaly covered but i have this crazy squeek coming from the rear tire area. sounds like a bushing sound but it happens when the wheel is rolling. is there a bearing in there that would sound similar to the rubber squeek sound?

What he said. If it is an RXV it is probably a wheel hub.

yep RXV.

The guy I got it from did mention that he had one come back before that the nut backed off of.
Is mine coming off? or does that sound mean a bad bearing?

I also think the rear shock on that same side is blown. over any small bump it bottoms out on that side.

Not to mention that he spray painted the seats instead of covering them with black vinyl. the paint started coming off the first day I had it. (who does that?)

I tried to be cool about it but the guy wont even return my calls now. I hope this is the worst of my problems.

IMO, The RXV failure points are the front bushings at the bottom of the shocks and the rear wheel hubs. They just get worn out. You can try to tighten that hub and it will get you by but I would go ahead and replace it. As for the shock, my experience with the RXV's and rear seats is you better plan on the HD springs. Longer shackles will help but..

THANKS kgsc,
I look into that. HD = heavy duty?
Eventually I want to do a lift so I might try to squez the life out of this one until then. Probally just change the hub now.

Sorry Yes, heavy duty, and the rear spring won't change as part of a lift.

I see some adds for HD springs but they are all still just one spring. I dought that will make much diffrence on what I have. Would I be wrong? Also any thing that has more then one spring. isnt the over eye under eye like the RXV. Does that make a diffrence? ( the front of the spring goes over the the bolt where as the rear of the spring goes under.)

it is made of a stiffer metal and yes you need the over/under spring
