EZGO Powerwise II wont hum
I also just installed new batteries, they need charging but the charger that used to charge my old batteries will not click on. After watching a You Tube video I cracked it open and checked most things with my volt meter. I am not very technical and the video did not address this exact model so I had to make a few guesses which checking continuity. Everything appeared to check out. Any thoughts from you guys would be appreciated before I pay money for repair or replacement.

Re: EZGO Powerwise II wont hum
Check the the polarity of the new batteries, sounds like one or more may be installed backwards.
You didn't mention what type cart you have, but here is battery wiring diagram for TXT and Medalist carts Or it could be the pack voltage of the new pack is too low to turn the charger on (has to be above 30V) What is the pack voltage? |

Re: EZGO Powerwise II wont hum
sorry guys, stupid mistake. when I switched the batteries out I failed to re-attach the negative wire that leads to the charging plug. Found it, plugged it up and now its humming. Showing nearly 20 amps.

Re: EZGO Powerwise II wont hum
A very good trouble-shooting rule of thumb is to always start looking where changes occurred, assuming everything worked before the change.
