Default Which Tires

I want to purchase a set of 23" tires for my hunting cart. I would like some with a fairly aggressive tread but not too heavy. Any thoughts?

I have Kenda Terra Trac , its a 6 ply (strong sidewalls)that wears good , decent on the pavement and digs well in the mud

what size wheels are you going to run?
ask 100 different people, youll get 100 different answers....
im running 10" black steel wheels. Kenda Bear Claw 23" tires. been thinking of going to 25's or maybe bigger due to how much lift i have.
ive heard that 23's will work with 4" of lift and Ive heard it will rub.
I went with my setup because of price. But the tires were 6-ply which was a huge selling point. rockymoutainatv
sells them as well as a whole lot of others out there. Good luck

You are smart to think about weight. The power to weight ratio is always a factor in cart performance gas and electric. Go aluminum wheels. Lighter wheel/tire is easier for the motor to start and stop. I like big lugs for mud, fine treads like the ones shown above would turn to slicks if your mud has any sort of stickie (clay) in it.
Also size matters, big tires are essentially a gear ratio change. The difference between 18 and 23 is 30%+ going to these tires is like changing from 12:1 to 8:1 gears. Going to 25s ? You better have power to waste or it will cut the cart off at the knees in high torque situations.
Hope this helps. Post what you get.
