Battery pack voltage check
I am new at golf carts so need to ask a basic question. I have purchased a 2008 RXV 48 volt and need to know where to place probes on my VOM to check pack voltage. Cart has 4 12 volt batteries.
Thanks in advance. |

Re: Battery pack voltage check
All 4 Batteries are linked together (with 3 cables) in series, positive to negative. 4 / 12s add up to 48v. There are only battery cables that do not go to another battery. These two battery posts are you main + and -. This is where you would test the pack voltage.

Re: Battery pack voltage check
Scotty, Thanks for your reply. But I'm still a little confused. You said this:"There are only battery cables that do not go to another battery". Did you mean there are only 2 cables that do not go to another batt?
Thanks |
