Club Car lifts on a Budget
I'm looking at different lifts for my club car and was just wondering witch won't is the best on a budget I do like to make things on my own anybody ever made any for there cc ds

For 199 shipped you can't beat the a arm lift with HD rear springs included from Trademark Carts. I usually order mine off eBay from them. I've probably installed 50 or 60 of these kits and never once had a problem with fitment or the buying experience. I would order from them any day of the week.

You said you wanted homemade, so I am assuming you want to make it yourself - not buy it off-the-shelf and bolt it on? If so, you sound like a possible candidate for an ATV front end swap! I made mine fairly cheap, bought the entire ATV off CL for $50. It came with A LOT of do-it-yourself’ness LOL! I could have stopped at just the front end conversion and new shocks and been on the cheap and cheap, but I added a new rack and pinion, replaced all nuts and bolts with SS, modified the front spindles, bought new wheels, etc, etc …the list seems to never end. ...my wife started keeping a "golf cart folder" of all the receipts
 Shop around and really think about how much time you are willing to invest in it. There are a zillion examples of members starting their swap and a year later still working on it due to changing circumstances. Bolt-ons are very fast and then you’re done. Custom homemade solutions will always take a long time to work out. But I wouldn’t trade anything for what I learned during my build. Either way, top priority should be TO HAVE FUN with it. ive been using allsport they make 4-6-8 inch lifts easy/simple

Thanks for all the feedback I just sold my 88 club car 36v and bought a 96 club car 48v much better cart now the question is how many inches to go 6 or 8 anyone have any Comments
