2001 EZGO runs slow
I have a 2001 ezgo electric cart that runs slower than expected. New batteries, new solenoid all seems in line when checking out the voltages ect. Ran dignostics per trouble shooting guide instruction and do not get any fault code from test. I haven't changed any setting or pedal adjustment to the ITS any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any help Rick |

Re: 2001 EZGO runs slow
In your first post you stated that cart runs slower than expected. How fast is "slower than expected"?
How many beeps sounded when you put it into diagnostic mode? |

Re: 2001 EZGO runs slow
Okay first set of beeps is 3 then followed by 2 and no more. From the manual I have the first set of beeps is the performance mode second set should be the fault code followed by a 3rd set but I don't get any more than that. Changed the solenoid and rechecked it contacts are not welded and the solenoid click when the pedal is engaged.

Re: 2001 EZGO runs slow
I had the same issue. May or may not be urs. Make sure 100% the wiring on the solenoid is as it should be. I thot mine was wired up correct until I removed my hat drank a beer to clear my head. Was 2 wires backwards on the big solenoid posts. B+ and main positive shud be on passenger side of solenoid and drivers side to the motor. I hope this helps. Print off the diagram in the stickies and triple check to the tee. :)

Re: 2001 EZGO runs slow
Assuming everything's wired correctly, try and adjust the ITS in accordance with the manual in the Stickies. It may not be telling the controller to go to 100%.

Re: 2001 EZGO runs slow
Please quantify "slower than expected".
Are we talking about 2MPH or 12MPH. Unless we know the symptoms, we are poking and hoping |
