2005 cc charger trips breaker
My 2005 cc failed to charge. Put new obc on. Now charger trips breaker when plugged in. It pegs the gauge on start up falls off restarts and repegs the amp gauge and then trips breaker. Tried different charger and same thing.
Any suggestions on what might be the problem. |

. . . which breaker is tripping? ... the house power or the charger breaker?

Possibly bad rectifier.
Get a charger repair kit which includes rectifier, relay, and breaker. |

Hey guys thanks for input. Shop that sold me the obc says it might just be the fact that the batteries were at a low discharge level that it might trip the charger breaker more than once before the charger could handle the high rate of charge needed early on. I've reset the charger twice and it looks like its going through its cycle now. Let you know tomorrow if charger kicks off properly.
