Re: Larger tires at higher speeds
These are Moto X Trail 23X10.5-12NHS.....
I have the same tires and have noticed a similar problem with the " out of round " type tire. Upon investigating I did notice that they were not fully seated on the rim. They are round until it gets to a certain point and then bumps up. |

If not the procedure I posted back in post# 8 might work for you. Just curious, what is the max inflation pressure on those tires? |

Re: Larger tires at higher speeds
2 things are common, espcially since China got involved in tires,The bead can seat off-center,or the tires are Out-of-Round.I've been around the tire business a good part of my life, and ever since the Chinese tires got popular(due to low-cost,as usual),the complaints have risen drastically. We buy steer-tires for a semi, and 9 out of 10 times, one of the pair is out of round, and bounces like crazy.Balancing won't help much, since the speed of most carts isn't that fast to start with.Defective tires/rims,or incorrect mounting are the more likely factors.Always run all the lugs up evenly, and criss-crossed,not following around in a circle-pattern,since this can bend the center of the wheel.Hope this helps.

JohnnieB, I have not got them correctly seated yet. Going to a local garage tomorrow morning and letting them fool with them. I did look at that procedure you used and was thinking of doing the same but SWMBO told me to take them to a " professional ". Looking at the tire...it says the max inflation is 20 psi. |

Re: Larger tires at higher speeds
I just got back from my local garage and have 3 BRAND new tires that are out of round. They took the tires off, lubed, turned, seated them again and still have the same problem. Of course that's the kind of thing I expect with my luck.
