Re: Help!!!! Question about a Marathon F/R switch
Both micros work(ed), as it goes forward and reverse, and 1/2 speed turned on and off. So I agree with JohnnyB, it's a compromise, but he lost 1/2 speed reverse. If no kids or adults that aren't familiar with the bandaid drive it, not really a problem, but most of us don't recommend disabling the backup beeper. I'm betting it no longer works, assuming it uses the same disabled micro.
EDIT: I forgot that FNR has three micros and mine only has two, so the beeper may still work. |

Re: Help!!!! Question about a Marathon F/R switch
If he wanted the back up beeper or half speed couldn't he just swap the switches as suggested earlier?

The only thing that makes sense to me (other than than the black disk being flipped front to back - which I don't know if it is possible to do) is what crash test dummy said. The lever ought to installed pointing down instead of up. Which way does the lever go, sticking up or sticking down? I know they stick up on TXT and Medalist carts, but which way do the go on a Marathon? |

Re: Help!!!! Question about a Marathon F/R switch
F/R handle points up just like the TXTs although the switch itself is right behind the handle and not over on the passenger side. For the operator it is the same on a Marathon, Medalist or TXT. (series carts)

Re: Help!!!! Question about a Marathon F/R switch
You can swap location of the two ms.
You can replace the double ms with a single and double up on one terminal. You can rotate the came base plate by mistake but that is not what happened here. (see pic) The cam appears to be assembled and installed correctly. |
